Eagles fall to 1-2

The Eagles traveled to Anderson to face the Cavaliers on Thursday night.  After an impressive opening drive, Rabun Gap missed a 32 yard field goal.  The Cavaliers marched 80 yards for a 7-0 lead.  Rabun Gap had a two fumbles during the second quarter which stopped scoring opportunities.  Anderson led 14-0 at the half.  The Eagles threw an interception on the first play of the second half which eventually led to an 18 yard TD run...giving the Cavaliers a 21-0 lead early in the third quarter.  The Eagles tried to get back into it, but they fumbled inside the one yard line early in the fourth quarter.  Two plays later, the Cavaliers fumbled it back to them on the six yard line.  However, Anderson intercepted a pass a few plays later and returned it 95 yards to give Anderson a 28-0 win.
